I am Lindsay Pierce, board certified art therapist and licensed professional counselor. I have 12 years of clinical experience working primarily with children, adolescents and their families. I have worked with clients in home, office, school and community settings. I specialize in art therapy, providing clients a unique way to explore their personal growth in therapy through creativity and play. I have extensive experience addressing concerns related to emotional and behavioral management in youths through expressive interventions, evidenced based practices, such as CBT, and person-centered approaches. My strength is building rapport through my youthful spirit while using your interests to engage, feel seen, respected and supported. I believe an underlying goal is to empower youths to strengthen their sense of self to feel more confident in navigating their experiences, to accept themselves and grow in self-love through their emotional health journey. ***** Hi! I’m Jenna James. I am a board certified art therapist and licensed professional counselor. I received a BA in Psychology and Fine Art from Kansas State University and a MA in Art Therapy with a Specialization in Counseling from Seton Hill University. I have six years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in school and office settings. I strive to help individuals experience healing in all areas of their life by integrating my clinical experience with a genuine and supportive therapeutic environment. I have experience using expressive art approaches as well as evidence-based practices such as CBT to help individuals heal from a variety of emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues. I aim to help clients have self-compassion for wherever they are in their healing journey while challenging and supporting them to meet their goals. My strengths are building relationships with individuals and their families, empathic listening, using creative approaches to express and find insight into their current struggles, and empowering clients to see their value and worth. I can’t wait to meet you! ***** Hello! I am Jessica Rose. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have a BA in Psychology and an MSW in Social Work. I have been working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic capacity for over 13 years. I have experience working in a variety of settings such as public schools, alternative schools, crisis teams, hospitals, homes, and juvenile detention centers. My guiding principles are validating feelings, active listening, using humor and open communication as a means to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. I am a reliable, consistent support for my clients. I believe in genuine positive regard, being non-judgmental, being warm, understanding, and empathetic. I work with children and their families on processing experiences and feelings, managing their emotions, decreasing maladaptive behaviors, expressing their feelings appropriately, while decreasing symptoms and increasing self-esteem. I use a variety of modalities that include CBT, DBT, mindfulness, family systems, solution focused, and play therapy.
